I have reached the end of the guide for achieving 100% completion of Sleeping Dogs. I don't have all the gold awards but my stats indicate 100% completion. I think it is important to note that I have confirmed that the gold stat awards do not in any way factor into achieving 100% completion. The locations of the vendors selling safehouse upgrades never show up on the game's map. The vendors appear as you unlock new safehouses. Safehouse upgrades (air conditioner, sofa set, and dragon tapestry to name a few) embellish the safehouses Wei earns throughout the story. Safehouse Upgrades: These upgrades can be found as you travel around Hong Kong and find black market vendors selling them. Other lockboxes will require your hacking skills in order to open them. Some lockboxes are guarded by thugs, so you will have to defeat the thugs in order to access them. They may contain cash and articles of clothing. Lockboxes: They are blue boxes scattered around the island of Hong Kong. Wei's health becomes more important later in the game as there are more powerful martial arts enemies and more dangerous gunfights. Health shrines are very useful for preserving Wei's health. Health Shrines: These are the shrines Wei Shen prays at for increasing maximum health. I will now mention the Missions, Cameras Hacked, Cases, Melee Training, Police Training, Races, and Triad Upgrades that need to be completed or unlocked for 100% completion.ĬollectiblesThe collectibles that are not required to be collected for 100% completion are listed below. I have now concluded my distinctions between Favors, Events, and Jobs. All you have to do is open the trunk and rescue the person inside the trunk. You hear crying or shouting from the trunk of the car. Junk in the Trunk: You drive past a nondescript car parked in an area it doesn't seem to belong in. The chases can go from being on foot to being a drive through the streets. Hit and Run: A Sun On Yee member gets robbed in front of you and you have to pursue the thief to recover the stolen goods. You are to take the customer out of the business and keep him away from there. The business owner will call Wei over and ask him to deal with a customer causing problems. Shoplifter: This event occurs as Wei drives or runs past certain businesses. Drug Busts are good for increasing your cop points or police training. There are 17 drug busts and all appear on the game's map. After hacking the surveillance camera you will have to return to your safehouse to use the hacked camera to identify the drug supplier to the HKPD for an arrest. You will then have to hack the surveillance camera that watches the hangout. Every drug bust requires you to go to a marked location on the map and beat up the thugs until they get scared and run away. There are 5 debt collection missions after the introductory job.ĮventsThere are 28 events that occur spontaneously as Wei Shen is traveling past certain locations.ĭrug Busts: The introduction to Drug Busts is in the second lead to the "Popstar" Case. The HK$20,000 payment will count as a job completed in addition to the 20 cars delivered.ĭebt Collection: At the beginning of Act 2, Uncle Po will offer work under a debt collector named Roland Ho. However, what may be confusing is the receipt of HK$20,000 for delivering all 20 cars. Uncle Tran will be available to you on your contacts section of your smartphone. Each martial arts club contains 6 waves of increasingly larger numbers of opponents for cash and special themed costumes.Ĭar Deliveries: Halfway through Act 1 of the game and after the "Popstar" Case has been closed, Uncle Tran will call you to inform you that he would pay you for cars you steal and deliver to his chop shop. There are 4 martial arts clubs, 1 in each district (North Point, Central, Kennedy Town, Aberdeen). Martial Arts Clubs: The martial arts clubs will be available upon completion of the story mission "Amanda". The 30 jobs are divided into the following categories: JobsThe 30 jobs are available at different points in the game, so you will have to complete enough story missions to access all 30 jobs. The next part of this section will make a distinction between Favors, Jobs, and Events. The following screenshot shows my Completionist Stat Award in the Social Hub. The two screenshots above are from the All Stats tab (under stats, not in the Social Hub). I am going to highlight the missions that are displayed in the screenshot above that are needed for 100% completion. The following screenshot displays other types of missions that must be completed in full in order to reach 100% completion.
